Doing Pushups
Much Easier

Doing pushups has numerous health benefits, from feeling less stressed to alleviating back pain. While this exercise can be challenging for some, there are different ways to complete a full pushup, and one of these is by using a Pilates ring.
A Pilates ring provides resistance in doing a full pushup position and will help in experiencing better form, better control, and engaging the core more. The technique is to place the Pilates ring under the chest vertically (unlike in the image) while in a full pushup position and push it down to an oval form as it tries to snap back into a circular shape.
Get into a high plank position with your hands shoulder-width on the mat and your legs straight out with your toes on the mat. Bend your elbows and lower your body toward the mat, keeping the back straight, and squish the ring on the way down. The resistance from the ring provides some extra muscle engagement, especially in the abs.
