Celebrity Esthetician Elina Fedotova Describes How Your Diet Can Affect Your Skin - Exclusive

If you're hoping to have beautiful clear skin, it's important to be putting the correct products on it each and every day. According to celebrity licensed esthetician Elina Fedotova, including all organic ingredients into your morning routine is the best way to go if you want a youthful glow.

"Your skincare products should be like a fresh meal for your skin!" She said during an exclusive interview with Health Digest. "More and more research shows your products can end up in your bloodstream, so I believe in skin care products formulated from food-grade ingredients."

The ingredients you put on your face are important, but there's another step you need to take in order to get beautiful skin: You need to be aware of the ingredients you're putting into your body, too.

We all know that cutting fast food out of our diets can make us healthier, but it can help us all have healthier skin as well. In fact, it's the very first thing Fedotova tells all of her clients when they want a sun-kissed complexion. "Rule number 1: no hydrogenated oils," she said. "Stop eating food with hydrogenated oils and any processed foods."

She also told us a few foods you should add into your diet instead if you want amazing results.

Elina Fedotova details what you should be eating if you want incredible skin

While enjoying some extra time out in the sun, it's important to pay attention to your skin health even more than usual. Lucky for us, getting glowing skin can be easily achieved by incorporating delicious foods into our daily diets.

It's important to eat plenty of foods that contain antioxidants for the best results, such as eggplants, grapes, and tomatoes. "It is scientifically proven that people who eat a very high level of antioxidant-rich diets, fruits and vegetables, and anthocyanosides can stay in the sun without any protection much longer," Elina Fedotova explained to Health Digest. "Because their bodies can protect them naturally from UV damage."

This protection is essential if you're trying to avoid developing premature wrinkles and dark spots that are often caused by too much time in the sunshine.

For another layer of skin protection, there's one type of food that you should completely avoid eating whenever you're spending time out in the elements. "Eating foods containing hydrogenated oils before you go outside can also cause more photosensitivity," Fedotova advised. Who knew that healthy cuisine was the secret to healthy skin?
