  • Allison has interviewed Dr. Eddie Irions — a well-known Charleston, SC-based gastroenterologist who's made appearances on Southern Charm and Dr. Oz — for the cover of a magazine.
  • Her freelance career gave her the opportunity to interview the woman who created the sports bra, Lisa Lindahl.
  • She completed a challenging volunteer program after college that opened her eyes to mental health awareness.

Allison wrote her first story as a little girl; a book she also illustrated in grade school. Her formal editorial career began in college when she joined her school's multicultural newspaper — she eventually became the Editor-in-Chief. Allison also worked as the Senior Editor for Winthrop University's HerCampus chapter. She's now been working professionally in editorial for the past six years, both writing and editing topics including, but not limited to interior design, fashion, travel, and celebrity health.

Allison has a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from Winthrop University with a focus on print journalism: she earned a minor in writing.
