Donna is a nurse who has worked for over two decades in both inpatient and ambulatory healthcare settings. She has utilized her experience and expertise in the areas of adult and pediatric health to write for the past decade for universities, nursing and pediatric publications, as well as healthcare agencies and skilled care facilities. As a regular contributor to, various university nursing departments, and parenting sites such as WonderBaby and Genes2Teens, Donna has been able to reach a variety of audiences with her medical knowledge and wordsmithing. Donna is an RN with a Masters's Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. In addition, Donna is certified as a school nurse, giving her in-depth knowledge of children and teens. Her experience working in a community health clinic as a nurse practitioner and in the home health realm rounds out her expertise in medicine throughout the lifespan.
