  • Previously, she worked as a medical content writer and editor at The Academy of Preventative and Innovative Medicine, contributing to their blog and writing patient-centered content on behalf of physician clients. She also worked as a mobile app content writer for a digital healthcare startup, One Drop, writing diabetes prevention and heart disease content on behalf of large clients like Bayer for their employee corporate wellness programs.
  • In addition to writing healthcare content, she self-published a novel called Taken Over Blue Waters in 2009 at the tender age of sixteen, still available on Amazon.com. She is currently querying agents and publishers for her latest novel, a WWII, historical fiction story about a young woman and her male friend escaping a concentration camp during The Holocaust.

Experience

Krista has a wealth of knowledge in the disease prevention and management, pharmaceutical, and telehealth industries that she is excited to share through her writing at Health Digest. She is also a Certified Diabetes Prevention (DPP) Coach through the CDC and certified in Lifestyle Medicine, a form of preventative medicine, through The American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
