Lauren O'Connor received her bachelor's degree in Journalism from California State University, Long Beach and her Masters in Nutritional Science from California State University, Los Angeles, where she received an Arthur Kong Memorial scholarship and was accepted into the highly esteemed Coordinated Dietetics Program. She became a registered dietitian in 2007 and has used her communications and writing skillset throughout her career in the field of nutrition.
