Experience

As an entertainment journalist, Amy has written for ELLE, Harper's BAZAAR, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, People, The Independent, Heat, HelloGiggles, Shondaland, The Guardian, and Bustle. She regularly writes about her experience as a disabled person living with multiple sclerosis, ADHD, PCOS, and anxiety, with bylines at Healthline, Byrdie, the MS Society, The Paper Gown, and SingleCare. Amy co-edited The Emma Press Anthology of Illness and had an essay published in Routledge's HBO's Original Voices: Race, Gender, Sexuality, and Power.

Education

Amy holds a degree in English Literature and an M.A. in the teaching and practice of creative writing, both from Cardiff University. She also holds a teaching qualification from Sunderland University, and undertook Columbia University's short course in Narrative Medicine in 2019.
