Everything Kylie Jenner Has Said About Her Stretch Marks

Kylie Jenner, the youngest child of Caitlyn and Kris Jenner, has had a lot to say about the stretch marks left behind by her two pregnancies, and many of her comments show that she is seemingly unbothered by what rude people have to say. For example, back in 2020, when told by a troll that she looked "better" before giving birth to her daughter Stormi, she shut them down, simply saying: "i birthed a baby." Then, in a later post to her Instagram Stories, the makeup mogul shared a photo of the stretch marks on her breasts, saying: "yeah, I can feed a human, nbd" (via Seventeen).

It appears that many women had a positive response to Jenner's candor. In response to the reality star sharing photos of her stretch marks, X user ROSA DIAS wrote, "I finally [feel] like a normal human after seeing that @KylieJenner also has boob stretch marks!" to which #N.E.K.T# replied, "you go girl staying true to all girls out there emabrace our bodies stretch marks and all."

Kylie Jenner has a philosophical view of her stretch marks

According to a 2021 study found in International Journal of Women's Dermatology, it's not unusual for women to experience stress and embarrassment related to their stretch marks. Out of 116 women surveyed, over a third of women questioned said they experience "a lot" or a "moderate" amount of embarrassment related to these markings. However, as WebMD notes, anyone can get stretch marks, and anywhere from 50% to 90% of women have them.

Given how common stretch marks are to the human experience, some have suggested it might be a wise idea to make peace with them. Speaking of her journey to acceptance, one woman wrote that, "I saw them for their purpose," adding, "My stretch marks show me I'm growing; physically and mentally" (via Frank Body).

And, indeed, Jenner herself has made similar statements about her stretch marks, sharing that, while she still had them following the birth of her daughter, she had "accepted them as a little gift from my Stormi." She further offered some encouraging advice to one of her Instagram followers, saying, "Once I accepted the change, my confidence came back. It just takes time" (via BET).
