Experience
Erica has worked as a professional writer and editor for more than 15 years. She worked as an editor in higher education, as a copywriter for digital and print, in content management for pharmaceutical giant Merck, and in item writing and writing assessment in the field of e-Learning. As an educator, she has worn many hats, from serving as an Adjunct Professor at Temple University, her alma mater, where she taught business communications, to teaching English composition at Manor College, just outside of Philadelphia. These days, she splits her time editing and writing for The List, working in test administration for a global learning company, and sharing and teaching about health and wellness, particularly natural health solutions, and advocating for mental health and infertility awareness. In 2020, she founded a blog called Hot Mess on a Health Quest, where she shares her own journey and tips and those of others.
